Sabbath Praise & Worship Conference Returns December 4-5, 2026

After 25 years away, Sumter native Pastor Trevor Cooper returns home with a message of hope, renewal, and community
empowerment.
The second annual Sabbath Conference, also known as SabCon, will bring together residents of Sumter and surrounding communities for two days of conversation, music, fellowship, mentorship, and spiritual restoration.
TWO TRACKS. ONE COMMUNITY.
SabCon 2026 will feature two distinct but complementary areas of programming:
COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
Presented by Amasha Hope, the community-facing program will include conversations and workshops centered on youth empowerment, health and wellness, music, leadership, workforce readiness, and community opportunity.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP
Presented by Impact Fellowship Church, the spiritual program will bring together worship, music, teaching, and fellowship centered on rest, renewal, and faith.
Introducing Sons of Sumter
During SabCon 2026, IFC’s conference partner, Amasha Hope, will publicly introduce Sons of Sumter, a proposed male empowerment and mentorship initiative for eligible male students in grades 11-12 with Sumter County public schools (Crestwood, Lakewood, and Sumter High Schools).
The proposed model would pair enrolled students with vetted mentors through graduation and for two years afterward. The initiative will emphasize:

Physical and mental wellness

Leadership and personal responsibility

Workforce and community readiness

College and technical-education preparation
-
Military service, entrepreneurship, and employment pathways
Students, families, prospective mentors, educators, health professionals, employers, and community leaders will be invited to participate in the conversation and help inform the initiative’s continued development.

Community sponsorships will support Amasha Hope’s nonreligious programming. The Saturday evening worship service is presented separately by Impact Fellowship Church and is not included in community sponsorship benefits.

Amasha Hope: South Carolina Registration Status
Amasha Hope, a California public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3) organization, has filed for registration as a foreign entity in South Carolina and for registration to solicit charitable contributions with the South Carolina Secretary of State’s Division of Public Charities. All filing fees have been paid, and both registrations are pending confirmation. Documentation will be provided upon request.
